The following is a message from the event coordinator:
The Richton Home and Garden Club will sponsor the annual Christmas Parade, Dec. 7.
The parade will begin at 4:30p.m. The theme of this year’s parade is The Perfect Gift. We are inviting the community to participate in this festive occasion.
The parade will take place around dusk, so if you enter a float, we are suggesting that you enter a lighted float. Lighted floats are really beautiful and add so much to everyone’s enjoyment. Of course, lighted floats are not mandatory.
We just encourage all to participate as we celebrate The Perfect Gift. If you would like to participate in the parade, please contact Claudette Edwards(parade chairman) 601-788-6286, Shelly Tucker, 601-788-2753 or Marlena Smith 601-788-4474.
Christmas in Town Square will begin immediately following the parade.
