Pennies for Patients | Community Spirit

During the month of February, students at New Augusta and Runnelstown Schools collected $1,977.21 to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program in which students across the country raise funds for research and service for patients afflicted with blood cancers.

The top fund-raising individual students /classes were Landynn Bolton/ Mrs. Collier's Kindergarten at New Augusta and Kearston Montague/ Mrs. Sumrall's First Grade at Runnelstown.
