Spirit of Women presents Girls Day Out and Annual Holiday Decorating Event | Events

On October 11, Forrest General’s Spirit of Women will host their annual exclusive “girls only” event filled with fun activities, fabulous food and prizes, dancing, massages, holiday decorating  and travel tips, shopping and much, much more! 

Attendees are encouraged to gather a group of friends and enjoy the opportunity to be pampered, learn about taking action for better health and get ready for the holidays – all in one event! Reduce your winter stress by getting a head start on holiday shopping and decorating as Catherine Strange demonstrates easy seasonal wreaths and door hangers, gift wrapping/packing ideas and holiday gift ideas. Debbie Thornton, author of the Any Blonde Can Cook cookbooks, is also a featured speaker, guaranteed to keep attendees laughing with hilarious anecdotes. Thornton will have several of her cookbooks for sale and will sign copies for attendees.

The Girls’ Day Out and Annual Holiday Decorating Event will be held on October 11 from 9 a.m. until noon at Southern Oaks House and Gardens, 1246 Richburg Road in Hattiesburg. Registration for this event features an Early Bird Special. Ladies who register by September 30 pay $20 for Spirit of Women members and $30 for non-members. After September 30, tickets will be $25 for Spirit of Women members and $35 for non-members. Limited space is available, and the deadline for registration is October 8.
